From Camamú city
Coming from Ilhéus
Drive on BR 101 road until Travessão then take Camamú - Valença road for about 140 km. Once in Camamú ride in a motorboat to Barra Grande. The ride will take an hour and half through a beautiful scenery or you may choose a 30 min long speedboat ride.
Coming From Salvador
We suggest the one hour Ferry Boat ride from Salvador city to Bom Despacho city. The Bom Despacho - Camamú strech is around 180 km long (passing by Nazaré das Farinhas and Valença cities). Once in Camamú ride in a motorboat (1h30min) or a speedboat (30 min) to get to Barra Grande.
Using the BR-030 road
The BR-030 road runs through Maraú peninsula and reaches the road to Barra Grande. It is an unpaved rough road starting in Ubaitaba city on BR-101 road. It takes 3 to 4 hours to cover the 90 km road. .
